Bomb threat proves to be a hoax at William Woods
ABC 17 News has confirmed a bomb threat at a Mid-Missouri university turned out to be a hoax Thursday afternoon.
William Woods University evacuated its Tucker Dining Hall and Jones Residence Hall after getting a threat during the lunch hour.
The Fulton Fire Department, Fulton Police, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol all helped to make sure campus as safe and clear the buildings.
Authorities gave the University the “all clear” about an hour later.
