Tracking early-week showers with cooler temperatures by mid-week

Tonight: Temperatures continue to track on the warmer side with an overnight low of 66. Winds flow out of the southeast at 5-10 mph with mostly clear skies.

Tomorrow: Temperatures top out in the upper '80s once again with small chances of afternoon scattered showers southeast of I-44. Winds will flow out of the south.

Extended: Monday begins mostly clear reaching a high of 90 degrees. Monday afternoon, an approaching cold front begins to move from the northeast bring with it chances of widespread showers lasting through Tuesday morning. By noon the cold front and showers will push southeast of Central Missouri leading to mostly clear skies heading into Tuesday evening. Temperatures drop into the mid-'70s for the highs until Friday where the high tops out at 80. Thursday morning, we will see an overnight low into the upper '40s.
