Police investigating McDonald’s burglary in Jefferson City

Jefferson City Police are investigating a burglary that apparently happened overnight at the McDonald’s on Missouri Boulevard.

Capatain Doug Shoemaker with JCPD said the burglary most likely happened between midnight at 4 a.m.

Shoemaker said an unknown amount of cash was taken from a safe and there was damage inside the restaurant.

McDonald’s management is assisting with the investigation.
