Responders called to several crashes Wednesday morning
Early-morning snow may be to blame for a number of morning crashes throughout Mid-Missouri.
The snow started falling around 4 a.m., and while only a little accumulated, it’s been enough to make driving surfaces slippery.
Dispatchers have reported a number of crashes in the area, mostly along major roads like Interstate 70 and Highway 63. Crews just cleared the scene of a crash on Highway PP in Boone County, northeast of Columbia.
If you are driving today, drive slow enough to allow yourself plenty of time to stop or slow down as necessary. It’s also recommended that you leave extra space between you and other vehicles around you.
