Frigid week, light snow chance

Temperatures will stay near or below the freezing mark through Friday as frigid air settles into Mid-Missouri. Nights will drop into the upper teens Wednesday through Friday night with days staying in the upper 20s to low 30s.

A fast moving area of low pressure aloft will move across northwestern Missouri Tuesday night, bringing light snow through Mid-Missouri from 3-8 AM Wed. The best chance of light snow will be north of I-70 with flurries or a few snow showers south.

Little to no snow accumulation is expected due to the light nature of the snow and the fast movement. Areas north of I-70 could see a dusting with less than a half inch possible.
