Floods shut down dozens of roads across Mid-Missouri

A large number of roads remain closed across Missouri due to flooding.

As of 6:30 a.m. Monday, dozens of closings are in effect throughout the state, mostly across the southern half of the state. One notable closing is eastbound I-70 in St. Charles County.

In Boone County, roads shut down including Brushwood Lake Road and Route Y at Cedar Creek.

In Cole County, nearly 20 more roads are closed including:

Payne Road
North Branch Road
Loesch Road
Bainer Road
Zion Road
Buffalo Road
Deer Run Road
Waterford Road
Murphys Ford Road
Meadowsford Road
East Lohman Road
Rockhouse Spur Road
Rockhouse Road
Engineers Road
Railroad Street
Water Street
Nine Hills Road
Bode Ferry Road
Lock and Dam Road
North Teal Bottom Road
Vaughn Ford Road.
