Crews respond to water rescue in Boone County

Emergency crews responded to a water rescue in Boone County Saturday night.

The Boone County Fire Protection District and Columbia Fire Department responded to the 3300 block of Blackfoot Road just after 10:15 p.m.

A single car was in high-standing water. Emergency crews blocked off the road.

Crews rescued one person stranded in the vehicle, according to Gale Blomenkamp with the Boone County Fire Protection District. No one was hurt.
