A Texas man drowned in St. Clair
ST. CLAIR, Mo. (KMIZ)
A 61-year-old Texas man drowned Wednesday in a private lake in St. Clair.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dale Neider, 61 of Wharton, Texas, jumped from a moving boat Wednesday around 4:50 p.m. in Thunderbird Lake.
Authorities said Neider attempted to float before he went underwater and did not resurface.
Searchers recovered his body Thursday and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
