MU to award actor with honorary degree
The University of Missouri will give out more than 2,500 degrees this weekend.
MU will award actor Hal Holbrook with an honorary degree during the school’s fall commencement ceremonies.
Holbrook has appeared in more than 120 TV shows and movies.
He has been nominated for several acting awards including an academy award.
Holbrook is best known for his one man show, “Mark Twain Tonight!” which has been shown in theaters across the U.S.
Mizzou has given out nearly 400 honorary titles since 1892.
