Mild weekend, wet late Sunday

Winds will shift to the south Saturday ahead of a storm system which will approach the area this weekend. This will warm temperatures into the upper 40s Saturday afternoon and into the 50s Sunday. Saturday night won’t be as cold with temperatures falling into the upper 30s, well above the normal low of 23 this time of year.

Saturday looks mostly sunny but clouds will quickly increase Sunday, giving us mostly cloudy skies. Most of the day Sunday will be dry but a spot shower is possible in the afternoon. These light showers will increase after 6 PM Sunday as a cold front approaches with scattered light showers Sunday night. Rain is most likely from 9 PM Sunday through 3 AM Monday, moving out by daybreak.

Rainfall amounts are forecast to come in from a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain through early Monday morning with the highest amounts east of HWY 63.
