Governor’s son gets house arrest after Columbia DWI
Governor Nixon’s son is getting house arrest after his second arrest for DWI in less than six months.
Columbia police pulled over Willson Nixon back in August for not using his headlights near College and Locust. They also claim he clipped a parked car during the same traffic stop.
Willson Nixon was also arrested in May for suspicion of drunk driving after running a red light near Broadway and Providence.
He was also cited for having marijuana in 2011, but that case was dropped for an apparent lack of evidence.
