Colder air moves in Wednesday

Another cold front will move through Mid-Missouri early Wednesday bringing in temperatures more like December. Ahead of this front, we will warm up into the 50s, well above the 30 year average high of 41 as winds come in from the southeast Tuesday.

Wednesday will be a transition day as colder air starts to move in behind the cold front. Temperatures will start off in the low to mid 40s but quickly fall late in the afternoon as the colder air settles in.

We’ll have a couple chilly, dry days before temperatures start to climb this weekend, reaching the upper 40s Saturday and mid 50s Sunday. Light showers are possible Sunday evening with rain becoming more likely late Sunday night through Monday morning.
