Power poles fixed, electricity uninterrupted following crashes

Power stayed on for several Columbia residents after two vehicles hit different utility poles in the same area, near I-70 and Rangeline in Columbia.

City workers replaced one of them Sunday off Vandiver near the Joe Machens dealerships.

Then a semi-truck hit a separate pole Monday afternoon, while a contractor for a cable company was fixing the lines damaged in the first crash.

Water and Light were stabilized the second pole and checked other poles in the area.

No electricity was disrupted at any point.
