Kansas City man arrested in connection to shots fired in Columbia
Columbia Police were called to the 1400 block of Wilkes Boulevard for reports of shots fired just before 5 o’clock Saturday morning
Minutes later officers arrested Deshannon Turner in connection to the incident. He was booked into the Boone County Jail late Saturday night.
One neighbor tells ABC 17 News she heard three shots fired.
He is facing charges of armed criminal action, first degree burglary and prohibited weapons.
Turner is a convicted felon with nine previous criminal offenses, including drug trafficking and numerous counts of possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held on $100,000 cash only bond.
