Man arrested after Sedalia bank robbery

A Kansas City man is facing possible charges after a bank robbery in Sedalia.

Around 11:40 a.m. Friday, officers responded to Central Bank at 301 W. Broadway, according to the Sedalia Police Department.

A witness told police a man said he was armed, demanded money and got away with cash.

Police later determined David Waters III as the suspect. Officers found and arrested Waters. He was taken to the Pettis county Jail.

Waters is facing possible charges of first degree robbery and armed criminal action.
