Threat called in to Black Culture Center during Black Caucus meeting
ABC 17 News has confirmed a threat was called in to the Black Culture Center during a Tuesday meeting between the members of the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus and members of the group Concerned Student 1950.
The Black Caucus said the threat forced the building to be locked down.
MUPD told ABC 17 News it is investigating a call that was made Tuesday afternoon.
Leaders were meeting to discuss opportunities to improve racial equality and eliminate systemic injustice at Mizzou.
Black Caucus members said campus safety is the most important issue right now.
