Cooler air moves in for the weekend

Much cooler air is moving into Mid-Missouri behind the cold front which brought showers and t-storms Thursday. It will feel more like November Friday and through the weekend with cold nights and cool days as high pressure builds over the area.

Friday’s high temperatures will reach the upper 50s to near 60 which is close to the 30 year average for November 6. It will be chilly Friday evening as temperatures fall into the 40s during the evening and into the upper 30s by Saturday morning as winds diminish under clear skies.

Skies will remain mostly sunny through the weekend with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 50s. Temperatures will fall quickly in the dry air and clear skies Saturday night with low temperatures near freezing by Sunday morning.
