Police issue a Silver Alert for missing 71-year-old woman

UPDATE: As of a little after 8 a.m. on Sunday, the University of Missouri Police Department released Theresa Antoine-Mitchell had been found and is safe.

The University of Missouri Police Department has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing woman last seen on Saturday night at 5:30 p.m.

Police are searching for 71-year-old Theresa Antoine-Mitchell who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's and was last seen at the Newman Center on Turner Ave. in Columbia with her daughter. Antoine-Mitchell was wearing glasses, a black hat, pink shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

  • Brown eyes

University Police are asking the public to contact them at 573-882-3243 with any information about Antoine-Mitchell whereabouts.
