Two arrested in search warrant served in Boone County

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrested two men following a drug bust Friday.

Deputies arrested Leslie Shoemate, 41, and Taylen Brown, 39, just after 11:30 p.m.

Deputies helped the East Central Drug Task Force serve a search warrant. Details were not available Saturday on where the warrant was served or what was found in the home.

Both Shoemate and Brown have since bonded out of the Boone County Jail.

Shoemate is facing possible charges of distributing or manufacturing drugs. Brown is facing possible charges of possession of a controlled substance.
