Police called for possible gun threats in south Columbia

Officers were called to Steamboat Lane Wednesday night, after getting reports of a man who threatened a person with a gun, before he said he was going to shoot police if they arrived at the home.

The scene was near Rock Quarry and Grindstone in south Columbia.

Officials told ABC 17 News the suspect was not there when they arrived, and the area was cleared before 7:30 p.m.
