Columbia police investigate shooting on Business Loop
Around 8:00 Thursday night, Columbia police were called to a shooting at a fast food restaurant on Business Loop 70 West.
Our crews arrived on the scene shortly after 8, and saw a person in an ambulance along with police vehicles at Long John Silver’s.
Close to 8:30, our crews saw one person in handcuffs. As of 8:30, another person was put in handcuffs. The suspects were being questioned. Shortly after 9:00, both the man and woman were released from custody.
Police do confirm the victim was shot off Long John Silver’s property and then ran into the restaurant where employees called 911.
