Award-winning author, historian David McCullough to speak at MU Wednesday night
Historian and author David McCullough is scheduled to speak at the University of Missouri Wednesday night.
McCullough will deliver theKinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy’s inaugural distinguished lecture. Hewill draw from his work in the books 1776 and John Adams to discuss the architects of American democracy in a lecture, “The History You Don’t Know: Lessons from the American Founders.”
McCullough is an American author, narrator, historian, lecturer and a two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award. He is also a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award. His most recent book, The Wright Brothers , is a number oneNew York Timesbest-seller.
McCullough’s lecture will be held in theMissouri Theatre on Wednesday, October 7th. The event is free and open to the public.
