Columbia man arrested for meth after traffic stop

A Columbia man was arrested after a traffic stop turned into a drug bust Monday morning.

Columbia Police said they stopped 34-year-old John Williams early Monday morning at the Break Time off Paris Road.

Authorities said they could see pill bottles in the car and smelled marijuana.

While they were searching his car, investigators found marijuana, meth, and drug paraphernalia.

Williams is charged with multiple drug offenses.
