Position: Local Sales Manager (KMIZ/OMIZ)

The Networks of Mid-Missouri is expanding the sales department and has an opening for a newly created management position. This position is for a Local Sales Manager to lead our team of professional account executives on the KMIZ (ABC Network) and OMIZ (MeTV) team. We are looking for a proven seller that is ready to move into a management position. Experience in sales operation in television or related industry and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans with goals and deadlines are a must.

Job Description:
The Local Sales Manager’s primary purpose is to generate income through the sale of air time, internet and special events. The LSM manages the local account executives in local revenue generation and is responsible for training and development of the sales department. This position requires extensive sales experience, communications and organizational skills.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have the ability to direct a professional sales staff in achieving revenue goals and extensive computer skills. Experience with marketing research is preferred.
