Authorities searching for driver after possible car chase

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating where a possible car chase ended.

An abandoned vehicle was found in the area of North Hinkson Creek Road and Mexico Gravel Road.

Authorities have set up a perimeter and are looking for the driver.

A K9 unit was brought in, but the search was unsuccessful.
