Three people injure clerk in Fulton Family Dollar robbery

Three people robbed Family Dollar in Fulton Saturday, Fulton Police Chief Steve Myers confirmed.

One man and two women entered the store and threatened a clerk just before 9:00 p.m., Myers said. The clerk told officers the three people attacked her and stole money from the cash register.

“She was not tied up or restrained in any way,” Detective Dall Hedges with the Fulton Police Department said. “She was knocked down, and by the time she was able to get up the suspects were gone.”

The woman was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.

The the subjects were last seen leaving the area in a red Dodge Charger or similar vehicle with larger aftermarket wheels.

There are no surveillance cameras at the store. Myers said he did not believe the suspects had a weapon.

No arrests have been made.
