Jefferson City woman injured after getting hit in crosswalk

A Jefferson City woman was injured Tuesday after being hit by an SUV in a cross walk.

The 24-year-old woman was crossing McCarty Street around 8:00 a.m. when an SUV was turning onto Madison Street.

She was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
