Columbia police respond to reports of shots heard

Just before 4:30 Sunday afternoon, Columbia Police were called to the 400 block of Sanford Avenue for reports of shots heard.

Officers talked to neighbors who say they heard what sounded like two gunshots. Police tell ABC 17 they were unable to find any evidence such as shell casings or bullet holes to suggest shots were fired.

Other neighbors told police it sounded like fireworks.

No one was injured and no property damage was reported.
