Several people in custody after brief pursuit in central Columbia
Several people are in custody Thursday night after a brief pursuit in central Columbia.
Police are not releasing many details right now. ABC 17 News has confirmed that the chase started on Benton Street after a person in a vehicle ran from police.
Authorities used the k-9 unit to try to track down the person and temporarily closed several streets in the area.
They arrested that person on East Forest Avenue.
Officers also took several other people into custody that were in the car.
