Arrest warrant issued for murder suspect in Ashland homicide

An arrest warrant has been issued for the murder suspect in an Ashland homicide.

According to Ashland Police, 19-year-old Robin Morales-Sanchez is wanted for the Friday morning murder of Moises Hernandez-Sanchez. Morales-Sanchez also assaulted another individual according to police.

Morales-Sanchez is being charged with murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree and two counts of armed criminal action.

He is also wanted in Cole County on a domestic assault warrant. He is considered armed and dangerous according to police.

Police say if Morales-Sanchez is sighted, individuals should not contact him. Individuals should contact local law enforcement or report the sighting anonymously to CrimeStoppers by calling 573-875-8477.
