Highway Patrol releases dry water enforcement results

Over the weekend, the Missouri State Highway Patrol conducted a dry water enforcement on Missouri lakes and rivers.

Troopers conducted sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols.

Troopers arrested three people statewide for boating while intoxicated and issued 85 boating violations. Troopers also issued 588 warnings to boaters. They also issued 137 summonses for non-boating violations through the weekend.

Troopers contacted 1,531 boaters and 543 vessels through the enforcement.
