Join the fight against hunger with ABC 17 News
About one in five Missourians don’t know where their next meal is going to come from, and that need continues to grow.
ABC 17 News teamed up with the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri to help those in need, and work to change those numbers for the better.
A 12 hour food drive was held Monday at the West Broadway Hyvee in Columbia, where more than 500,000 pounds of food was donated.
In an ABC 17 News special at 6:30 Monday night, we dug deeper into the numbers and looked at how employees and volunteers continue to provide hunger relief to Mid-Missourians daily.
