Federal operation conducted near Millersburg
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department assisted in a federal operation near Millersburg Wednesday morning.
Sheriff’s Lt. Clay Chism told ABC 17 deputies were working with The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms to serve a warrant at home on Route J.
Witnesses said they saw authorities with rifles on the scene and were looking through a shed on the property .
On Thursday, ATF spokesman John Ham told ABC 17 News no arrests were made following the warrant, and all property was given back to the rightful owners. The investigation continues.
