Woman arrested for meth after trying to run from police

A Maplewood woman was arrested Friday night after trying to run from police.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Starlight Drive to look for a wanted man.

While officers were arresting the man, they noticed two spoons with meth residue near the man and woman.

They also found 16 grams of meth inside a baggie in a car in the garage of the home.

The woman, Janet Miraglia, attempted to run away from the area.

Officers took her into custody and arrested her Monday afternoon for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and for an outstanding felony warrant.
