Warm week ahead

A strong southerly wind will bring in even warmer air to end the weekend with highs Sunday reaching the low 80s under partly cloudy skies. The dry weather for Sunday will be brief though, as rain chances will increase again by early Monday morning. A few spotty showers or a stray thunderstorm can be expected Monday morning and into the afternoon, mainly north of I-70. Highs will stay warm for Monday, reaching near 80. Tuesday will be a very similar day with slight rain chances and highs near 80.

Another storm system will begin to approach Missouri towards the end of the week, keeping rain and storm chances in the forecast throughout the work week and even into next weekend. While the weather will be unsettled this week temperatures will be consistent, with highs staying in the upper 70s and low 80s through next weekend.
