Mike Parson running for Missouri Governor
The latest candidate for the Governor of Missouri talked about why he joined the race in Jefferson City Friday.
Senator Mike Parson announced he’s running Thursday night in his hometown of Bolivar in southwest Missouri.
Parson said he made the decision after this year’s tragic death of another running mate, Tom Schweich.
“I think Missouri politics for one needs to take a serious look at the way we do business. And we need to start putting out a positive message to the people of Missouri. And some of the things that’s went on for years has got out of hand,” said Parson.
Before this, Parson spent 6 years as a state representative. He also served as the Polk County Sheriff.
