Storms Sunday

Rain could move into northern Mid-Missouri by late Saturday night. By Sunday morning an isolated thunderstorm could be seen as a warm front clips northern Missouri. A few spotty showers are possible during the day Sunday while temperatures warm into the low to mid 70s.

The best chances of storms though will come Sunday night as a cold front pushes into Missouri. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the front with a few stronger storms possible west of HWY 63. Some storms could contain small hail or gusty winds. Showers and thunderstorms will last through the overnight hours and into Monday morning. Parts of Mid-Missouri near I-44 could still be seeing rain by the early afternoon on Monday. Drier conditions will return by Monday afternoon with temperatures in the upper 60s to start the work week.
