Mild Weekend

After a stormy week the weekend got off to a pleasant start on Friday. Dry and clear conditions will continue into Saturday with highs reaching the upper 60s to near 70. Clouds will start to increase Saturday evening though bringing back partly cloudy skies. By late Saturday night there is a slight chance of showers.

As a warm front lifts into Missouri during the early morning hours of Sunday a few spotty thunderstorms could be seen in northwestern Mid-Missouri. This front will help temperatures warm into the low 70s Sunday afternoon. A cold front will quickly follow though for Sunday evening. This cold front will cause a greater chance of showers and thunderstorms for Sunday evening and overnight. A few of these storms could be strong with small hail and gusty winds possible.
