Tracking a standard summer day

TUESDAY: Another warm day set to unfold with more sunshine. Temperatures will top out in the low 90’s as we pick up a few afternoon clouds.

TONIGHT: We’ll hang onto partly cloudy skies and quiet weather overnight. Lows will bottom out near 70.

EXTENDED: It’ll end up being another warm day tomorrow, but a cold front is on the way. It looks to show up tomorrow evening, firing up a few scattered storms. We’re expected to lose most of that activity an hour or two after sunset. We’ll be slightly cooler behind the front, in the middle 80’s on Thursday. But we turn the heat back up on Friday with highs back in the low 90’s, feeling close to 100 with the humidity. That’s ahead of another storm system that will bring rounds of rain Friday night through the weekend.
