Lincoln University leaders return from Cuba mission

Leaders from Lincoln University in Jefferson City got back Thursday night from a mission in Cuba.

Five employees made the trip, including the University’s new president, Dr. Kevin Rome.

They had several goals. They wanted to explore opportunities for researching agriculture and look into exchange programs for students and staff.

President Obama recently loosened some of the restrictions on the communist nation.

Residents got access to free, open internet for the first time.

One cultural center in Havana is now offering free wi-fi.
