Columbia SWAT team busts repeat meth offender

A Columbia man was arrested Wednesday after police found drugs meth and drug paraphernalia in his home.

Officers from the Columbia Police SWAT team searched a home at 2005 Riney Lane for drugs.

Officers found meth and a meth smoking pipe in 62-year-old Dennis Nowlin’s bedroom. They also found a digital scale in the bathroom.

Nowlin was also arrested back in October for having meth, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials including pipes, syringes, a spoon with residue, scales, baggies, and ledgers.

Nowlin was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a total bond of $5,000.
