Man taken to hospital after standoff ends in Moberly
A man was taken to the hospital following a standoff that lasted several hours Sunday night in Moberly.
It happened at a home on Fisk Avenue.
Moberly police responded to the scene Sunday afternoon after receiving a report of a suicidal subject.
The Moberly Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office negotiated with the man.
The 30-year-old man came out of the home just after 7 p.m.
Relatives told police he was depressed after a recent death in his family.
The standoff temporarily closed off two blocks of Fisk Avenue.
