Columbia woman arrested for stealing money from business

A Columbia woman is behind bars Wednesday night for stealing from a Columbia store.

24-year-old Marla Hoy was arrested for stealing more than $500 from Life and Uniform on Bernadette Drive.

Authorities said she did it by making fake refunds and pocketing the money.

Hoy faces felony stealing charges.
