Columbia United Way director resigns

The head of a major charity in Columbia is resigning.

Timothy Rich, the director at the United Way’s Heart of Missouri chapter, announced he’s leaving after almost 6 years.

Rich will officially step down in March and join a technology firm in Texas.

The board is working on a plan for naming his replacement.
