Multiple candidates vying for Columbia City Council seats

Multiple candidates are trying to secure seats on the Columbia City Council.

Jake Loft plans to campaign for the first ward, after Ginny Chadwick’s resignation.

Michael Trapp and Paul Love have filed to be the representative of the second ward.

Trapp currently holds that position.

Ryan Euliss, Elizabeth Peters, and Randall Minchew have filed to represent the 6th ward after Barbara Hoppe announced she’s not seeking re-election.
