Trial delayed for Columbia murder suspect

A man charged in a 2014 Columbia murder appeared in Boone County court for a hearing Monday.

Prince is one of three men charged in a home invasion that left one person dead on Texas Avenue.

Boone County Prosecutor Dan Knight told the court in April he made a request to set Prince’s bond at $1 million cash only because he has strong ties to a Columbia gang.

Prince’s trial has been delayed indefinitely.
