Governor’s mansion won’t be open for tours next weekend

The Governor’s Mansion in Jefferson City will not be open for its annual candlelight tours next weekend.

The Office of Administration cited safety concerns for the decision.

The candlelight tours are normally held at the same time as the downtown Living Windows and the Jaycees Christmas parade.

Visitors will still be able to view the lighted exterior of the mansion and the lit Christmas tree on the Mansion grounds.
