Three arrested in Lincoln University lockdown

Three people have been arrested after allegedly causing Lincoln University in Jefferson City to lock down on Monday.

Craig Jarell, Marquel Lewis, and Aaron Burns were arrested after one of them apparently flashed a gun outside one of the dorms.

Lewis is charged with 3rd degree assault and disturbing the peace. Burns is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.

The incident came about a week after a student was attacked from behind, hit on the head with a gun, and robbed near the Break Time on Dunklin and Clark.
