Man accused of shooting woman in shoulder in Osage Co.
A man was arrested on Friday, after he was accused of shooting a woman east of Jefferson City.
Osage County deputies were called to the BreakTime in Linn around 12:45 a.m. on Friday, after hearing reports of a gunshot victim.
They found a 32 year-old Chamois woman who was shot in her left shoulder off County Road 262. She was stable and taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
After talking to several witnesses, investigators took Ryan Fain, 27, into custody at his apartment off 425 Highway 89 in Linn, after finding a weapon.
Fain is also on probation and a convicted felon for burglary, which makes it illegal for him to have a gun.
