Three Columbia homes searched, four people arrested

Columbia Police searched three homes Thursday and arrested four people for stealing property in a burglary on October 19.

Police searched 1403 Greensboro, 1412 Greensboro, and 1407 Avatar.

18-year-old La’Deja Hayes was arrested for receiving stolen property and was released on a signature summons.

20-year-old DeAngelo Joe, Jr. was arrested for 2 counts of 2nd degree burglary with a $9,000 bond, 2 counts of felony stealing with a $9,000 bond, and 2 counts of 2nd degree property damage with a bond of $1,000.

17-year-old Martavious Jones was arrested for 2nd degree burglary with a $4,500 bond, felony stealing with a $4,500 bond, and 2nd degree property damage with a $5,000 bond.

A 15-year-old boy was also arrested for 2nd degree burglary, 2nd degree property damage, and felony stealing.
